A Health Coach is a supportive mentor who works with clients to help them feel their best through food and lifestyle changes. Instead of prescribing one diet or way of exercising, Health Coaches tailor individualized wellness programs to meet their clients' needs.
Relationships, exercise, career, and spirituality are just as important to your health as the food you eat. Health Coaches understand this and take a holistic approach to supporting the whole person.
My Story
I grew up in Switzerland and always loved being out in nature and in the forest with my horse. That's where I felt at peace and one with nature. In Switzerland I pursued a career as a doctor's assistant, but I knew that this wasn't my passion. My passion was for horses which led me to Canada where I met my husband. After the birth of my daughter and my son I started getting interested in nutrition and holistic health. Both my children were struggling with food sensitivities and later on I developed food sensitivities myself. In 2013 I had the privilege to enrol in a three year herbalist apprenticeship program with Abrah Arneson in Red Deer. During this time I also finished my studies with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
I am very grateful to be living on a farm with a garden near Eckville, where I can deepen my relationship with the plants and learn from them.
I feel humbled and honoured to be working and learning from them.
My Approach
I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected and affect your health as a whole.
With my knowledge and the help of herbs, I formulate herbal remedies specific to your unique needs and we co-create completely personalized actions based on your goals to move you toward your ideal vision of health within your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and resources.
